Freedom Foundation are recruiting dance facilitators to be part of our programme of holiday club provision across the East Midlands.
 
Opportunities are available for one-off days or throughout school holidays.
 
Freedom Foundation use singing, songwriting and dance to educate children about the importance of mental health and wellbeing. Our programmes help children to improve their self-esteem, build resilience and confidence to recognise the impact social media has on their mental health. We want to recruit individuals to our team who are passionate about using the creative arts to work with young people.
 
We are looking for experienced dancers to join this team to engage and inspire 5 – 16 year olds teaching streetdance and hip-hop. You will be working with children and young people who may not have any experience of dancing and teaching them how to move and dance. Full training will be given on delivery of the sessions but you will need experience in streetdance and/or hip-hop and be able to engage young people in an upbeat and fun way.
 
The sessions are delivered across an 8 hour day in 2 – 4 hour sessions and will have a ‘lead’ (experienced) teacher and an assistant teacher.
 
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a programme which aims to instil long-term physical activity in children from disadvantaged areas and give them and their families a great time during the holidays.
 
Pay: £10 per hour for Assistant Facilitators, £25 per hour for Lead Facilitators

The sessions are delivered across an 8 hour day in 2 – 4 hour sessions and will have a ‘lead’ (experienced) teacher and an assistant teacher.

Freedom Foundation are recruiting SEND Dance and Music Facilitators to be part of our programme of provision across the East Midlands including Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire.

Opportunities are available for one-off days or throughout school holidays with pay ranging from £10 per hour for Assistant Facilitators and £25 per hour for Lead Facilitators.

Freedom Foundation are recruiting singing (including rapping and spitting bars) and dancing mentors and facilitators for their programmes.

Freedom Foundation uses dance and singing and songwriting to educate children about the importance of mental health and wellbeing. Our programmes help children to improve their self-esteem, build resilience and confidence to recognise the impact social media has on their mental health.

We teach them to understand about healthy usage and reduced screen time, whilst supporting them to learn new skills and unlock their hidden talents.

Our programmes which encourage positive mental and physical wellbeing.

We are looking to expand our team to reach more schools and community settings across the East Midlands and need your help to do this.

We want to recruit individuals to our team who are passionate about using the creative arts to work with young people. Our programmes, which have taken years to develop and hone will be entering a new phase. You must be able to teach under the Freedom Foundation ethos and follow strict lesson plans of delivery, feedback centrally and follow up thoroughly.

You will receive thorough training to understand our work and all our programmes and receive a detailed understanding of the work you will be undertaking.

You will be given thorough training, guidance and resources to do this.

DANCING AND SINGING WITH TODDLERS

Funky Tots is an interactive session for 2 – 4 year olds and their parent and carers.

Using streetdance, movement and singing we work with families to improve communication, bonding and physical activity and encourage children from a young age to explore emotion and confidence.

We are currently recruiting freelancer singers and dancers that can engage families in a fun and engaging way to take them through our Funky Tots programme. The sessions follow a pathway to teach bonding and communication alongside movement and singing.

You should have streetdance knowledge and experience alongside the ability to sing and use music to engage.

Contracts are Freelance – £25 per hour.
